Colonial Coffee Espresso Division

Colonial Coffee Espresso Division operates out of Davie, Florida, as the espresso equipment and Lavazza distribution arm of Colonial Coffee Roasters. The parent company was founded by the Bohorquez-Acevedo family, with roots going back to green coffee exporting in Bucaramanga, Colombia. The espresso division started in 1991 as an Italian espresso machine importer and became an authorized Lavazza distributor in 2001. It’s run by Orlando and Sandra Acevedo. The division offers three free-use Lavazza machine programs: Espresso Point for lower-volume use, LB 2811 for mid-volume, and LB 4700 for high-volume settings. All machines use Lavazza capsules, with minimum monthly orders ranging from 200 to 1,000 capsules depending on the model. The company services the entire state of Florida.
